Oktoberfest is coming back soon — the perfect opportunity to sew your own dirndl! In our sewing course in Munich, you will learn step by step how to make your individual dirndl.
How does this activity work?
- Selection of the appropriate fabric (optional previous visit to buy fabric)
- Cut the dirndl according to the given pattern
- Sewing the underbust corset
- Preparation of food
- Sew the skirt together
- Sew in the zipper
- (Optional) Booking the dirndl apron workshop for a complete costume
Who should definitely take part?
This workshop is suitable for advanced beginners. If you already have some sewing experience, you can certainly try out the underbust corset and sew your own dirndl.

What to bring?
Please bring a good mood, a desire to sew and your fabric. If you want to sew a multicolor dirndl, use the following amounts of fabric:
- Corset: 140 cm x 50 cm
- Corsage lining: 140 cm x 50 cm
- Skirt: 140 cm x 140 cm
- Seam-covered zipper: 40 cm long
- Inlay: 1 m Fleece Line H 250
- Decorative band: 150 cm (to decorate the corsage)
