About this class
Have you never worked at a sewing machine and would like an intensive introduction to tailoring? Using simple things such as pillowcases, bags, scarves or shawls, you will learn the basics of tailoring under professional guidance. I'll explain the most important stitches and functions of the sewing machine and also show you how you can avoid typical mistakes.
In this workshop, advanced students can take on larger projects such as pants, dresses, skirts, hoodies or the like and thus acquire further knowledge.
- Small course sizes with a maximum of 4 participants
- Fabric can of course be purchased in the studio. Course participants receive a 10% discount on the materials purchased for the course.
- Other sewing accessories such as scissors, pins and sewing threads are provided.
- Sewing machines are available in sufficient numbers, you can of course bring your own sewing machine.

What you’ll do in the class
The 5-hour sewing course on Saturday morning offers both beginners and advanced users the ideal opportunity to learn or deepen their sewing skills. With expert guidance from Claudia, an experienced seamstress, you can start your own sewing project or improve existing skills. At the beginning of the course, you choose your material and set up your workplace before you start implementing your project step by step. All basic techniques are explained in detail and individually tailored to your needs.
Claudia will be by your side throughout the workshop, answering questions and giving helpful tips.
