The teapottery: intensive pottery courses at the turntable
Get to know the teapottery
I am Nadja, a trained cutting machine operator and ceramic artist. My journey took me from working on a lathe to working on the potter's wheel — from precisely processing metal to designing freely with clay.
In my own work, I combine Japanese-inspired, timeless stoneware with hand-painted mugs that get their very own character through small doodles. I am fascinated by the tension between simple form, conscious craftsmanship and playful, individual details.
In my studio the teapottery, I combine the joy of ceramic crafts with a particular appreciation for the individual and imperfect. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, I see ceramics as a creative process that focuses not on perfection but on individual expression.
In my pottery classes, I invite you to discover clay with your own hands, experiment at the turntable and turn your own ideas into ceramics. It's not just about making a vessel, but also about taking time to try out new things and experience the joy of designing.
I am happy to share this enthusiasm with you and to welcome you to my studio.
