Nerikomi Ceramics: Japanese Patterning Technique

In this 3-hour course, you'll learn the basics of the Japanese nerikomi technique, which combines differently colored tones to create unique patterns.

You design two of your own plates and work step by step with coloured clay, which you layer, cut and assemble into individual designs. This creates special ceramic pieces with continuous patterns in the material. The course is suitable for beginners without previous knowledge and takes place in a small group with personal supervision. All materials (clay, porcelain and tools) are included in the price. The course instructors will then do the glazing and firing.
