I am Katharina, founder of Retro Kreativ.

For me, creativity was never just a hobby. It's a way to get back to yourself when there's too much going on in your head. I don't believe in “just being busy.” I believe in things that really change you.

My workshops are there for just that: so that your hands work — and your head calms down.

And at some point you realize that you can do more than you thought. You're creative.

I deliberately work in small groups of around 5 to 15 people because I want everyone to have enough space and support.

All materials and tools are prepared, so you don't have to bring anything and can start right away. The atmosphere is calm and concentrated, without pressure and without hustle and bustle. It's not about being loud or particularly sociable, but about focusing on what you're doing.

I offer workshops about tufting, crocheting, and other creative techniques.

It's not just about making something beautiful, but also about learning a skill that gives you something in the long term. Many people notice that this type of work not only develops creativity, but also changes their own way of thinking. “I can't do that” becomes “I'll just try it out” step by step.

In the end, you not only go home with a finished piece, but also with the feeling of having achieved something yourself.

Team events and private events

I also offer private workshops and team events, which are deliberately different from classic events.

It's not just about spending time together, but about learning something that lasts. A skill that calms the mind, promotes creativity and often also changes the way you look at yourself.

That is why these workshops are particularly suitable for small teams, girlfriends or even for time together between mother and daughter, when you not only want to do something but really want to experience and take something with you.
