Get to know neyuQ ceramics
I am Quyen Mac, a ceramist and originally trained pianist. Before I found my way into ceramics, I studied music in various countries in America. I learned to work with clay autodidactically — out of the desire to create functional ceramics that enrich everyday life.
My work is characterized by clear forms, reduced aesthetics and timeless colors. Every vessel, bowl, plate and vase is created with great peace, precision and attention to detail. As in music, harmony is created through repetition and deliberate omission. This is how I make ceramics that not only look beautiful, but also want to be used daily and create special moments in everyday life.
My ceramic studio is located in Heidelberg and offers a quiet, inspiring atmosphere for creative work. Here you will find professionally equipped workplaces, high-quality materials and all the tools you need for pottery. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced user, you can concentrate entirely on working with sound and realize your own ideas in a relaxed environment.
In my ceramics courses, I teach the basics of pottery as well as advanced techniques. Personal support in small groups is particularly important to me so that I can respond to you individually. In addition to learning the craft, the focus is on creativity, deceleration and the joy of designing. In the end, you take home handmade ceramic pieces that will accompany you for a long time.
My pottery classes are also ideal as a private group event or team event. Getting creative together promotes exchange, creates lasting memories and offers a relaxed balance to everyday or professional life. Whether it's a birthday, bachelor or corporate event — I design every event individually and create a pleasant, creative atmosphere.
