Experience art, try out new things and have a really good time together. That is exactly what Milli's Métier is about.

I am Denise, founder of the Creative Studio in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel. As a trained model maker, design sound modeler, engineer and certified game and experiential teacher, I combine creative craft with my passion for giving people new perspectives on their own creativity.

Because for me, being creative doesn't mean painting as perfectly as possible. It means having confidence in yourself, trying things out and maybe discovering exactly what you thought of before: “I certainly can't do that. ”

Milli's Métier therefore focuses on the experience — not the perfect result.

You don't need any previous knowledge and don't have to consider yourself particularly creative. I'll give you inspiration, show you various techniques and guide you professionally through your creative project. In doing so, you can follow my impulses, change them or go your own way.

Whether with friends, colleagues, as a JGA, for a birthday, after work or simply because you are in the mood for a special evening: Milli's Métier creates space for creativity, good conversations and shared memories.

The location

Milli's Métier Kreativ Atelier is located in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest train stop and therefore easily accessible from downtown Düsseldorf.

The studio combines a cozy atmosphere with a genuine studio character and a modern, design-oriented ambiance. You can work creatively here without making it feel like a classic course room.

For regular events, the studio can accommodate up to 12 adults. For private companies and special group formats, larger events with up to 24 people are also possible by arrangement.

Depending on the event, coffee and water are of course included; if formats are appropriate, wine, aperitif or other drinks are added.

A private unisex toilet is available. The studio is particularly easy to reach by public transport. If you are travelling by car, parking spaces behind the location can also be used by arrangement.

And above all: At Milli's Métier, everyone should feel welcome. Regardless of age, gender, origin or personal level of creativity.

Classes and events

Our creative events are different from a classic painting course.

This is not about twelve identical pictures hanging on the wall in the end. Instead, you get materials, techniques, inspiration and professional support — and decide for yourself what comes out of them.

Creative evenings such as Artful Flow are particularly popular, where painting, structure, mixed media and a good drink become a relaxing creative break.

Another highlight: designing glasses. Whether wine glass or Aperol glass — you design your own glass and take home an individual unique piece at the end.

And if you don't want to decide, you can combine the two: At selected events, each person can decide for themselves whether they would rather design a glass, paint or combine various creative options.

The principle always remains the same:

No previous experience. No pressure to perform. Not “right” or “wrong.”

Instead: try it out, think outside your own box, learn new techniques and discover what happens if you don't stick to what you already know how to do.

Team events and private events

Wouldn't you just like to spend your birthday party, friends' evening, afterwork or another special event in a bar?

Then turn it into a joint creative experience.

For private groups and closed companies, the events are individually tailored to you. You can choose a common theme or theme, bring your own ideas or be inspired by me.

Especially with larger groups, not every person has to do the same thing: Everyone can go their own creative path. The result is a collection of very different works — and that is exactly what makes the evening personal.

For example, individual canvas projects, creative glass design or combined formats can be planned for JGAs. On request, we can also develop a suitable concept for birthdays, groups of friends and afterwork groups.

Individual creative formats are also possible for companies and teams.

You come with a group — and leave with a shared experience, your own works of art and hopefully a bit more courage to try things out differently.

Milli's Métier isn't a place where you need to be able to do art.
It is a place where you can experience them.
