In a small, relaxed group, under the guidance of Mrs. Göricke, we each painted a picture on canvas, each according to her imagination. There was all the material we needed. We have basically agreed on a subject and it is astonishing, but actually not surprising, that the pictures have become very different. I think the painting course is good for beginners to gain initial experience, but also for others who are open to further tips and suggestions. It's nice to go home then with a finished picture in your pocket. Even if wishes remain unanswered as to how I could have done it even better. But that takes time and further experience. Another painting course with Mrs. Göricke, for example. In any case, I can recommend shr.

Everything was perfect, we all enjoyed the course a lot and was a topic of conversation during dinner. We are considering taking another course in a smaller group. The course instructor is so welcoming, we felt completely comfortable and learned a lot about acrylic painting.

On the occasion of a birthday, the four of us attended a painting course with Maren. It was a lot of fun for us! Under Maren's dedicated and professional guidance, we were able to create very individual images of the same subject and everyone was happy and satisfied with the result. We can highly recommend it and would definitely come back again. Big compliments to Maren!

We had attended a course with Maren last Saturday and were very satisfied. The whole thing took place as part of a bachelor party. Maren had prepared snacks and drinks to suit the occasion, which we were allowed to eat during the course. We all had a lot of fun painting, were able to let our creativity run wild and received lots of exciting tips. Consistently a successful event which we can wholeheartedly recommend.

Maren was a very loving and welcoming host. The course was perfect for trying out watercolor painting. There is a lot of help and inspiration from Maren. 2 hours are enough to bring one or more homemade works of art home. Highly recommended!

Relaxed, homely atmosphere. With coffee and cake. I really liked the course instructor's painting. Not only talk, but also show 👍 Even though many have finished their picture, I find 2 hours a bit short. But we could/should have stayed longer. I found it super nice. Highly recommended for the price 👩🎨 I'll probably book a second course to get my painting done

My daughter (12) came out of class really happy! She thought the course instructor was very nice, she also talked about the beautiful studio and there were even small snacks. She spent two hours painting intensively and felt very well guided.

In Maren's painting class today, thanks to her instructions, I simply learned to trust myself on paper. She taught me that beautiful things can be created even without perfectionism;) Through various painting techniques with watercolor and fineliner, some great postcards and gift tags were created.
With patience and an eye to see something beautiful in all my painting attempts, I had a great painting experience!

Get to know Maren Goericke
My love for water was born in my cradle. I started painting in the wild while sailing. Today I mostly paint in my studio, but I still love to be inspired by a fresh breeze and set my easel in the sand. I love painting everything related to the coastal landscape. My paintings reflect my personal view of and across the sea. My preferred material is oil and acrylic paints on canvas. I also like to use watercolors and pastels again and again. My pictures are based on sketches or photos of my trips to our coasts. I am inspired by nature, the sea, sailors and the beach. After a great painting trip in summer 2018 with Lars Möller, I was delighted to join the artist community group 369 around him. Since March 2018, the artist house in Skærbæk, Denmark, has declared me a house artist and has a permanent exhibition there. There has been a further collaboration with the WanderGalerie since November 2020. In September 2021, I founded the artist group NordKunstBildner with Wiebke Daniel, Cathrin Schulz-Mirbach and Dieter Kiesow. Since 2022 I have been a member of Kunstverein Blankensee e.V..
My paintings can be seen at many exhibitions in Hamburg, northern Germany and Denmark.
