The games @work Westerwald adventure: team building in the middle of nature

I am Meike Trommer, social pedagogue, resilience trainer and coach. With Kompetenzwerkstatt-Frankfurt, I support teams in strengthening their cooperation, developing new perspectives and remaining able to act even in challenging situations.

My particular focus is on experience-oriented team building offers in Westerwald. Far away from the office, tight deadlines, constant availability and everyday distractions, a protected space is created in which teams can really get in touch with each other.

My mission is to connect teams sustainably. I combine movement, experiences of nature, practical team tasks and reflection. The participants immediately experience how communication, trust, cooperation and joint decision-making work. The focus is on experiential education tasks that can only be solved together. Each person can contribute their individual strengths and at the same time experience how important mutual support is for joint success.

My team building offers take place in Westerwald — in a natural environment that deliberately allows distance from everyday working life. Forests, meadows, trails and extensive landscapes provide the perfect setting for joint activities, challenges and moments of reflection.

The Westerwald is more than just a beautiful backdrop. Nature supports the change of perspective and helps participants to step away from familiar roles and routines. Without the usual office hustle and bustle and away from constant interruptions, the group can concentrate entirely on the shared experience.

Depending on the weather, group size and objectives, the activities can take place outside or in suitable spaces. The offers are planned individually and adapted to the needs of the team.

The group size is adjusted individually. Both smaller teams and larger groups can experience suitable formats in Westerwald. For the specific planning, I take into account the composition of the team, the desired focus and the physical requirements of the participants.
