Get to know Julia Schreiber Papierdesign - paperadise
Paper has always fascinated and inspired me. This passion initially led me to study communication design, accompanied by various internships in stage design, scenography and film sets — formative experiences that significantly influenced my career as a paper designer.
In my master's thesis at the University of East London (UEL), I combined all my interests from these different areas in an elaborate pop-up book and completed my studies with distinction.
After initial work experience at a leading advertising agency in Hamburg, my way led me to the international children's book fair in Bologna, where I met the agency Brushfire for pop-ups. Fascinated by this special form of paper art, I moved back to London to work for the agency for a few years and learn everything about pop-up designs.
After returning to Germany, I expanded my range to include paper objects beyond the book and, by popular request, also began to create paper art — unique, three-dimensional works on paper that are characterized by their attention to detail and creative versatility.
