“When my daughter was born, I wanted to dress her as sustainably as possible.
Since the most sustainable resource is already available materials, I sewed pants for her from discarded wool sweaters. “

The idea of founding an upcycling company quickly grew out of this — I always wanted to be self-employed. At the same time, I came into contact with the Berlin City Mission's textile port, where I buy the majority of the damaged wool sweaters. Over a few months, I wrote the business plan, worked on the products, built up a presence on social media and got children in the circle of family and friends excited about clothes made from rescued wool.
