The Heartpiece and its mission
The HeartPiece is an Artist Alley shop and workshop space in the middle of Aachen's Frankenberg quarter. My mission is to make creativity accessible to everyone and to create a place where people can try out new things, relax and have a good time together. As a theatre teacher and passionate creative person, I experienced early on how valuable working together can be: It connects, creates small experiences of success and makes us forget everyday life for a while. With HeartPiece, I have therefore created a space in which creative ideas, crafts and community come together.
Location
The workshops take place directly at HeartPiece on Oppenhoffallee in Aachen - surrounded by the lovingly designed products of numerous regional and supra-regional artists. The workshop area is cozy, colorful and equipped with everything we need for our joint projects. Materials, tools and supplies are available on site, so you can simply arrive and get started. Depending on the workshop and event format, we can accommodate groups of up to 15 people.
Classes and events
The range of workshops at HeartPiece is as diverse as creativity itself: from Fire Arts, Kinusaiga and StringArt to linocut, paper art and hand lettering to changing seasonal projects. Our courses are just as suitable for beginners as for people who already have creative experience. It is not about perfection, but about the joy of trying out and designing. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn a technique step by step and at the end you will take home your very personal piece of work.
Team events and private events
Many of our workshops can also be booked exclusively as a private event — for example for a birthday, a hen party, a friend's evening or a creative team event. Together, we will tailor the project to your group, your wishes and the occasion. The special thing about it: You not only spend a relaxing and creative time together, but also create individual mementos in the process. This creates a shared experience in which everyone can participate — regardless of previous knowledge or alleged artistic talent.
