We went to the macrame workshop with five girls. You spend your time in a super relaxed & cozy studio. The selection of yarns and colors is great and so is the variety of dried flowers. Becky gives you a lot of time when choosing and should support be needed, she is there. In general, the entire process, the explanations of the individual steps and the response to all those seeking help were excellent. We had great fun the whole time. Thank you very much:)

We took part in the macrame course yesterday and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was super relaxed and creative, perfect for switching off and trying things out. The course instructor was very patient, explained everything in an understandable way and responded individually to each participant — even absolute beginners like us quickly experienced success. The selection of materials and colors was great, and in the end we were able to go home with a beautiful homemade macrame dream catcher.

Get to know HazelandBeck

Hi, I'm Becky founder & designer of HazelandBeck! It all began in my early childhood — while my girlfriends and I were making bracelets in the schoolyard. Other handicraft techniques were added later and the training to become an educator.

Today I work as an educator at a primary school in Hamburg, am self-employed as a creative author & owner of an online shop. I also give WORKSHOPS on many different occasions. My books have been published in collaboration with Frechverlag: Macrame bags in a new look appeared in July 2022, Minful Mandala macrame will be published in November 2023 & another one will follow shortly.

You can find my handmade products & DIY kits in Fachl in Ottensen-Hamburg and in my studio, Henrittenweg 4, 20259 Hamburg Eimsbüttel.
