About this class
In the Terrazzo Workshop, participants learn the basics of traditional terrazzo technology. The course teaches step by step how to create creative and individual terrazzo surfaces from marble gravel, cement or cast resin — whether for coasters, pieces of jewelry or larger objects. In addition to materials science and tool use, the focus is also on independent design and casting. In the end, everyone takes home a self-designed piece. Great for creative minds and DIY fans

The Terrazzo Workshop includes everything you need for a creative experience: High-quality materials such as molds, pigments, casting compound and tools are available. What you’ll do in the class
The course takes place in a relaxed, creative atmosphere in the boho-inspired HazelandBeck studio. At the beginning, participants select their shapes and get an introduction to materials and tools. Then it's time to creatively experiment with colors and pigments to create individual terrazzo chips. The works are then cast and hardened. A drying phase is followed by sanding and polishing the pieces to produce the typical smooth terrazzo surface. In between, there is plenty of time for short snack breaks, exchanges and cozy get-togethers.
