Glass magic workshop: mosaic workshops in Gelnhausen

My name is Meike Kurz and since November 2025 I have been running the glass magic workshop in the beautiful old town of Gelnhausen.

I came to glass fusing more by chance. In search of creative work for the summer vacation of 2024, I visited a glass workshop near Darmstadt with my children. The owner took a lot of time to introduce us to the fascinating world of glass fusing, and I was immediately impressed.

This first encounter with glass gradually gave rise to the idea of opening a small workshop myself. The rooms of my mother-in-law's former travel agency seemed perfect for this: centrally located, with a very special atmosphere and enough space to share my passion for glass with others.

This is how the Glass Magic Workshop was created — a place where creativity, craftsmanship and the joy of designing together come together.

My workshop can accommodate up to 16 people. This not only provides space for creative workshops, but is also ideal for team events, private groups, hen parties or special shared experiences.

My wish is to get people excited about the fascinating world of glass fusing and to give them the opportunity to create something unique with their own hands.

In addition to glass fusing, we also offer the production of colorful acrylic pouring pictures on canvas as well as individual coasters with glass mosaic.
