Behind F.O.R.M.A by HoNi STUDIO is Hongyi — designer and founder with a focus on the material, form and cultural significance of design.
Working with ceramics began as an examination of materials and processes and developed into a separate design practice. Today, the studio stands for an open space in which design, encounter and personal experience come together.
The mission of F.O.R.M.A. is to make ceramics tangible not only as a craft technique, but as a conscious, decelerated process — with space for your own ideas, intuition and development.
Location
Atelier F.O.R.M.A. is located in Hamburg and is designed as a quiet, clearly designed work space.
The equipment includes workstations for manual assembly, glazing and casting technology as well as sufficient tools and materials for various ceramic processes.
The group size is deliberately kept small (approx. 3-8 people) in order to provide a personal atmosphere and individual support.
Classes and events
The workshops combine basic craftsmanship with a creative approach.
In addition to classic formats such as hand-assembly, glazing and casting technology, there are also special events — such as “Clay to Table,” which combines design and eating together.
The focus is on material experience, quiet work and the development of your own design language.
Team events and private events
F.O.R.M.A. also offers private workshops and team events.
The combination of creative work, quiet studio atmosphere and shared experience creates a special form of collaboration — beyond traditional event formats.
