My name is Arthur Riedel and I learned the craft of brewing in the Ruhr region from the ground up over 30 years ago.

After training as a brewer and maltster, I attended the master class in brewing and malting craft at the Chamber of Crafts for Upper Franconia in Kulmbach and Bayreuth and successfully completed it in 2000.

Further training as a DLG inspector and sensory expert for beer followed in Munich in 2005.

I completed my training as a graduate beer sommelier in Munich and Salzburg in 2012 and passed the rating “excellent”.
