Who are you and what is your mission?

I am Patrick Völk, founder of Concrafts — and my passion is the combination of nature, craft and art.

With Concrafts, I develop and teach techniques that create extraordinary natural stone and rock worlds. For me, it's not just about recreating a surface. It's about creating atmosphere, character and real emotions. And the excitement of creating these experiences.

My enthusiasm for rock designs and natural stone representations came from practical work. I am still fascinated by what is possible when you work with the right materials, tools and techniques — and at the same time have the courage to design creatively and freely.

Concrafts was born out of this passion. Today I develop my own systems, materials and techniques and share my knowledge in workshops and projects.

My mission is to make rock designs better known in German-speaking countries and to show people what is possible with craftsmanship and creativity — and to open up new opportunities for craftsmen to implement high-quality and individual projects using special design techniques.

For me, the focus is always on one thing: Not simply making something, but creating something that inspires people.

Location

Our showroom locations are located in Düren, Landsberg am Lech, Jena, Mattighofen and others in German-speaking countries.

Here, people work, try out and design in practice. The focus is on real materials, tools, sample surfaces and real projects. Participants not only experience the techniques theoretically, but can also apply them directly themselves, often on real projects.

The atmosphere is deliberately personal and uncomplicated. Not a stiff seminar, but a workshop, creative space and meeting place for people who are interested in unusual crafts.

Our workshops are deliberately designed for smaller groups so that there is enough time for individual support, questions and practical work.

Classes and events

What makes our workshops special?

It doesn't just stick to theory. We build real things.

The courses are about really understanding the techniques and applying them yourself. The participants work with the materials, design their own surfaces and experience step by step how a convincing natural stone or rock design is created from a simple starting surface.
From beginners & career changers to professional craftsmen.

In doing so, we combine various techniques — such as stamping technology, freestyle, plate technology, modelling and surface design.

It is particularly important to me that participants do not simply copy a predefined template. They should understand why a design works, how to create natural structures and how to give life and character to a surface.

Many workshops therefore take place directly on real projects. This creates something during the course that can actually be used and shown at the end.

And of course, the community is also part of it: good discussions, joint work, mutual learning and a relaxed atmosphere make the workshops an experience that goes beyond a classic course.

Team events and private events

Yes — we also offer individual events for groups, companies, teams and private groups.

And this is precisely where there is a special feature: With us, you don't sit together for several hours and listen to a presentation.

You create something together.

Whether it's a craftsman, a private interest or a joint project — the participants work with their own hands and at the end of the day see what has been created as a group.

This creates a completely different dynamic. Everyone can get involved, try things out and realize their own ideas. At the same time, there is a joint result that the group can actually look back on in the end.

From small creative projects to larger rock and natural stone worlds, various formats are possible.
