Clayers Collective: Pottery Classes in Berlin

We are Stefanie and Sharman and founded our studio CLAYERS COLLECTIVE at the beginning of 2022 on Wollankstraße in Berlin-Wedding.

Before studying art, Sharman completed three and a half years of training as a ceramist with Uwe Löllmann, where he studied Japanese wood stove fire intensively. Various stays in Japan have shaped his understanding of ceramics and handicrafts. Stefanie studied architecture and worked in the art department for film productions for almost 2 decades. In 2019, she came into contact with sound for the first time and fell in love with the material and its many possibilities.

We both work passionately at the hub and primarily produce utility ceramics.

Our ceramic workshop is a place designed with love and heart for all ceramic enthusiasts who want to express their creativity with sound in a pleasant and intimate atmosphere.

We offer space for 13 permanent studio members, pottery courses with various formats (turntables and hand assembly), team events and group courses, burning services and sell clay for people who want to make pottery at home. Our studio is furnished with 7 pottery wheels and 2 large tables. We have recently opened an open workshop for people who have completed the advanced course with us. And we sell our handmade ceramics in our studio and at various markets in Berlin.
