Ceramics Magda Komar: Pottery Classes in Berlin

Hi, I’m Magda, a ceramic artist and meditative clay workshop facilitator.

I host:

• 1:1 wheel-throwing classes in a cozy, home-like (but fully equipped) studio in Friedrichshain
• Hand-building private team events that invite you to enjoy working with clay, making simple vessels as a form of meditative practice

I make unique ceramic series, exploring designs, shapes, and textures that become comfortable, well-loved companions in our daily rituals.

I’ve been learning wheel throwing since 2021. Along the way, I’ve traveled the world to study with masters in China, sculptors in India, and the older generation of potters in Portugal. I love learning and challenging my technique.

In 2023, I became a certified yoga teacher, which gives me a way to teach the body-mind connection through clay.

Besides ceramics, I’m a food stylist and photographer with a growing YouTube channel about cooking.
 

My studio is small and cozy, with a friendly neighbor who sells vinyl records. It’s fully equipped, with a home vibe, and I offer tea or coffee.
