I am Marika, founder of Atelier Ma_vie in Essen-Werden. In my studio, I combine creativity, craftsmanship and love for special things with history. My passion began with old pieces of furniture, which I give a new life through color, design and lovely details.
My mission is to inspire people to get creative themselves and experience how wonderful it is to create something unique with their own hands. My workshops are not about perfection, but about joy, relaxation, creativity and the good feeling of taking home a personal unique piece at the end.
Location
My studio Ma_vie is located in Essen-Werden and is a lovingly furnished creative space with a special atmosphere. The location combines workshop, studio and cozy wellness area. There is enough space on site for creative work, materials, tools, paints, decorative elements as well as a small kitchen and sanitary facilities.
Depending on the workshop, there is space for approx. 6 to 12 people. As a result, the atmosphere remains personal, calm and individual. Participants can get creative in a relaxed environment and receive step-by-step support.
Classes and events
My courses are special because they combine creativity, craft and personal design. The candle workshop creates beautiful bouquets from hand-cast candle flowers. At the furniture workshop, participants learn the basics of refurbishing furniture on an IKEA MOPPE cabinet — from preparation to painting to individual design.
Each workshop is structured in such a way that even beginners without previous knowledge can participate well. All materials are provided, and in the end, each person takes home their own, finished unique piece.
Team events and private events
I also offer private events, birthdays, hen parties, girlfriend meetings and team events. My events are particularly suitable for groups who want to experience something beautiful together, without pressure to perform and in a creative, cozy atmosphere.
The special thing about my group events is the combination of creative work, exchange and a shared experience. The participants relax, try out something new and create memories together. At the same time, an individual workpiece is created for each person, which they can take home with them.
