Class description
Casting with ceramic casting compound is a great way to make beautiful bowls, vessels or candle holders!
You can color your works, marble them, cast them in a terrazzo look, or you can leave them in their beautiful natural tone. There are so many design options!
How does this activity work?
We start with a short theoretical introduction to the basics of ceramic casting and then you're ready to go!
You make beautiful decorations for your home or create an individual gift using the various design techniques, and at the end of the workshop, you take your unique pieces home with you. Whether simple white or multicolored, speckles, polka dots and marbling, you will learn the casting techniques and can design your decorative objects as you please.
After casting, your work must be given an initial drying time of 40 minutes. During this break, you can paint or stamp on pendants that I have already cast.
After the drying break, we remove your cast iron from the mold. Now the edges are slightly sanded.
Your work of art will only be properly dried after 3 days. If it has dried properly, you can also apply stickers afterwards, for example.
Who should definitely take part?
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced users, even if you want to try out the hobby before you want to buy all the material and equipment yourself.
Here you can get creative and learn how to cast ceramic in a cozy atmosphere!
I'm looking forward to you!
