About this Tour

A very special adventure day awaits you!

Take a nostalgic paddle steamer from Dresden to Diesbar-Seußlitz. You will then hike through the castle garden from Seusslitz Castle to the vineyards and enjoy romantic views of the Elbe and the Elbe Valley again and again. In total, the experience lasts approximately 10 hours.

Look forward to a special day: In the morning, you will take off on a paddle steamer from the Saxon Steam Shipping Company in Dresden. The three-hour trip takes you past old castles and along Saxon vineyards. Even from afar, you can see the impressive castle complex of Meissen with the cathedral before continuing on to the romantic Elbe wine villages.

After your arrival, you will set off on a guided vineyard hike. Saxony has the smallest wine-growing region in Germany, in which distinctive wines grow due to its special location. You can fortify yourself with a rustic winemaker's snack in the middle of the vineyards. You will also try 5 different wines from the growing region. Some of the grape varieties cultivated are only found in Saxony and due to the small quantity, they are considered real rarities. Before heading back to Dresden, the tour ends in an old, rustic winegrower's house.
