Your journey begins in the heart of Vienna, at Schottenring U-Bahn station. This central and well-connected location makes it easy to access the tour from anywhere in the city. Your guide will welcome you and provide an introduction to Vienna’s rich wine culture before we set off.


2. Scenic Tram Ride to Vienna’s Wine Region
From Schottenring, we take a short tram ride to the outskirts of the city, where Vienna’s famous vineyards begin. As we leave the bustling center behind, you’ll notice the landscape changing into rolling hills covered with vines.


3. Vineyard Walk: A Journey Through Vienna’s Green Side
Upon arrival, we embark on a gentle stroll through Vienna’s scenic vineyards. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the city’s winemaking history, the unique soil and climate conditions, and the traditional techniques still used today. You’ll learn about the local grape varieties, including the renowned Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC, which is an essential part of Vienna’s wine identity.
