About this class
What you’ll do in the class
On four afternoons, we dive into the fascinating world of sound:
1st appointment — kneading (03.02.)
At the beginning, children learn the basic techniques of making pottery. We explore the clay with our hands, knead and shape it to develop a feel for the material. We playfully practice initial techniques such as smoothing and creasing.
2nd appointment — Design (10.02.)
Each child develops their own design. We'll discuss everything that's possible — from animals and shells to fantasy figures. We then implement the ideas in initial forms. Creativity is in the foreground here!
3rd date — forms (17.02.)
Now it's time to implement it! The children create their works and bring them into their final form. In doing so, they learn various techniques such as plate technology and freehand molding.
4th appointment — Decorating (24.02.)
On the last day, we dedicate ourselves to refining the works. The children paint and decorate their objects with colors, patterns and textures. We also talk about the magic of firing and what happens to their works in the oven.

- Course times: 03.02., 10.02., 17.02., 24/02 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm

What to bring to the class
Clothes that can get dirty or an apron, scrunchies (for long hair) and something to drink. We provide everything else, such as materials and tools! 🎨

The course is aimed at all children aged 6 to 12 years.
