Workshop: Embroidery step by step — for children aged 10 and over
In this creative workshop, we dive into the colorful world of embroidery together! Step by step, the children learn the most important basic stitches — from stem stitch, backstitch, flat stitch and bone stitch to special details such as the sweet nodules and the elegant twisted rose.
With lots of patience and fun, the stitches are explained, tried out and converted into small, creative motifs. The result is a first piece of embroidery work of art that can be taken home.
What you’ll do in the class
All techniques are explained according to age and then tried out. Embroider your initials or favorite letters on an embroidery frame. Of course, you can also bring your own clothes. Creativity is very welcome!
