About this class

Theory and practice, including rental board, paddle, as well as neoprene and life jacket or restube if required. After the course, you can take the basic certificate exam. Age 9 years and over, safe swimming is required. Includes textbook. Course duration, depending on the number of participants, approx. 2 hours.

What you’ll do in the class

After a short theory session (approx. 30 minutes), the correct paddle guidance on land is practiced before hitting the water. This is where you practice how to get back on the board after a fall. Various paddling techniques are then practiced kneeling and then doing the whole thing while standing. Finally, you can take the basic certificate test.

Who is the class suitable for?

From the age of 9 years, safe swimming is required. You have to have a certain amount of sportiness so that you can get back on the board even in deep water.

Swimwear, towel, changing clothes, sunscreen and a good mood.

What is included in the class?

Rental board with paddle, life jacket or rest room, neoprene if required, textbook and an experienced SUP instructor are available for lessons.

Teamevents and groups

Suitable as a group event and also for small groups of 3 or more participants. Can also be booked as a private course, with less than 3 parts, for an additional charge.

The course takes place at the camping site of Ferienparadies Gut Horn, on Lake Waginger. Parking is free of charge. Take the exit ticket for the parking barrier from the organizer before departure.
