About this class
The workshop starts with an introduction to cross-stitch techniques, materials and basic stitch types.
You then choose a design and transfer it to the piece of clothing you brought along.
Step by step, you will learn how to cross-stitch cleanly and creatively upcycle your clothes.
During the workshop, you will receive individual support and tips on choosing colors, patterns and design.
In the end, you take home your own embroidered, sustainable unique piece.

What to bring to the class
Bring a piece of clothing that you would like to embroider — e.g. jeans, shirt, T-shirt, or a cloth bag. A cap is also ideal. In addition: a good mood and desire to be creative.
What is included in the class?
All materials for cross-stitch embroidery — needles, threads, embroidery frames and templates — are provided.
In addition, pre-printed cross-stitch motifs on water-soluble embroidery fleece are available, which you can transfer directly to your piece of clothing.

Getting to know, presenting the materials and introducing the cross-stitch technique.
Design selection & preparation (approx. 15-20 min.)
Selection of motifs, placement on the garment and preparation of the fabric.
Practical part: embroidery (approx. 1.5-2 hours)
Step-by-step implementation of the cross-stitch design with individual support.
Finishing & finishing (approx. 15-20 min.)
Final details, tips for continuing to work at home and graduating together.
