About this Tour
Explore Heidelberg directly with your smartphone while playing the city rally “Der Fool - Hüter vom Fass”. Solve puzzles at famous sights, be carried away by the story of the court dwarf Perkeo and the big wine barrel and win the game. After booking, you will receive all necessary information via email.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Tickets: You only need 1 ticket per group (1-6 people). You can host the event at your preferred time. You are not bound to the booked time and can start whenever you want.
- Each group plays with 1 device. For groups of more than 6 people (maximum 50 people), you can buy 2 or more tickets.
- This is a private tour just for you! The label “public appointment” means that other groups could theoretically also play for themselves at the same time. You're not playing with strangers.

You will first be introduced to the story about court dwarf Perkeo in Heidelberg: 1725 in Heidelberg: The court dwarf Perkeo is in great turmoil. The Elector had given him the important task of guarding the large barrel in the castle. And much more: He should ensure that not a drop of wine is lost! But now the unbelievable has happened! The keg is leaking! This almost drives the short but extremely drinkable court jester out of his mind! Will you be able to help him get the keg repaired as quickly as possible?
Work in a team (1-6 people per group) to solve the case. Are you more than 6 people? Then we recommend that you divide yourself into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not all are well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest!
Rackle the story from station to station with the help of our city map. Solve the puzzles at Heidelberg's most beautiful sights and at important points and learn more about the big barrel in Heidelberg. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city rally. As a result, they are not listed here. At the stations, clues must be sought to solve the puzzles. This game focuses on the story and puzzles, not on details of the historical history of the sights and the city.
Move at your own pace and take a break whenever you want. The duration is approximately 2 to 3 hours. The end is in the old town of Heidelberg near the Heidelberg Castle Visitor Center.
