What you’ll do in the class

Porcelain is the diva among ceramic materials — sophisticated, sensitive and beautiful. Take part in a 2-day workshop and discover the special charm of this material.

  • On the first day, you develop a small sketch or bring along a mug idea, for example as a model or photo. We then discuss the procedure and the required materials together. You then start sawing and make your own plaster mold.
  • On the second day, you will complete your form. We saw, file and sand, then you pour an individual porcelain mug and prepare it for drying.
  • Step by step, you will learn how to stir the porcelain mass, unmold the cups and reassemble the plaster mold correctly.

We carry out all work steps together. You don't need any previous knowledge, you should just trust yourself to work with a saw and hammer.

  • You make a reusable plaster mold.
  • You pour a porcelain mug out of it.
  • All manufactured pieces are food safe.

By booking, you secure two consecutive workshop dates.

Saturday: 14:30 — 18:30
Sunday: 10:00 — 15:00

For groups of 3 people or more, you can also book a separate appointment.

Afterwards, you can also book a studio space to deepen your knowledge of porcelain.
