About this class
Want to get paper moving? In this course, you will create small works of art that, when opened, turn into surprising three-dimensional scenes.
With paper, cardboard, scissors and a cutter, you develop your own pop-up elements step by step, which lift, fold, rotate or erect. You will learn about folding mechanisms, cutting layers, layer structures and spatial compositions. Colours, patterns and decorative details add a personal touch to every card.

What you’ll do in the class
After the welcome, we will show you examples and various folding mechanisms. We will then explain the structure of a pop-up card and help you create your own card with a surprising depth effect.
