About this class
The special thing about this workshop: You don't paint from a template, but experience your subject with all your senses. Light, colors, mood and atmosphere flow directly into your painting. The result is a very personal watercolor with lots of liveliness and character.
What you’ll do in the class
We start together in my studio and from there set off into nature completely relaxed and with a maximum of 30 minutes on foot. Alternatively, we will arrange a suitable meeting place directly outside in advance by email. Together, we look for special motifs, small details and beautiful perspectives, which we first sketch loosely on watercolor paper and then watercolor directly on site. If you want, you can also photograph your subject and then further develop the image in peace and quiet in the studio or refine it with small details.
Who is the class suitable for?
The Pleinair watercolor workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to work creatively outside in nature and bring the special atmosphere of a place directly onto paper. You don't need any previous knowledge, the only important thing is the joy of trying out, observing and painting.
Even if you already have experience with watercolor, you can gain new ideas here, learn to sketch more loosely and implement your motif individually.
