About this class

Do you know the technique of painting eggs with wax from the Sorbian Easter tradition? It is a type of backup technique, which means that no color gets there during further dyeing. This creates wonderful patterns, especially when you dip them into several colors one after the other. The special thing is that this technique is very meditative and makes it easy to relax.

What you’ll do in the class

I present the individual steps and the technology and provide examples. There are empty and boiled eggs provided by me. Then we paint and color the eggs. The eggs should always lie in the dye bath for 10 minutes, so you can then paint more eggs over time. We have 2-3 hours to do this, depending on how you feel like it.
