About the course and the process:
From the white canvas to the design of your choice - I invite you to my studio and the garden salon of the Pitschen manor house. Spend a relaxing and creative day in the countryside in an atmosphere steeped in art and history. In doing so, you will learn how to implement a motif on canvas with acrylic paints and the basics of image composition and how to use colors. Individual coaching can be provided for advanced users.
I am Alexandra and I work as a painter and illustrator. The former Pitschen manor house in southern Brandenburg is where I live and work. I would like to share this beautiful place with other art enthusiasts. In my courses, I individually address the level of experience of my participants — the joy of the design process is the focus for me. “Everyone is an artist” — this oft-quoted quote from Joseph Beuys is a central statement for me.
The former Pitschen manor house is just an hour's drive from Berlin. The late Baroque plaster building was built in the 18th century. Today, the manor house is a place for creativity, for meetings and invites you to take a break from everyday life. The town enchants with its rural environment, combined with centuries of history.
How does this activity work?
We will coordinate your desired design and previous knowledge in advance. Together, we then implement the motif on canvas using acrylic paints. I will respond to you individually. A short break with snacks and soft drinks is also planned. At the end of the course, you'll take home your favorite canvas design and lots of inspiration.
