About this class
Let your creativity run wild at the macrame workshop in Bochum and learn the art of macrame weaving!
Would you like to try out a macrame project yourself? But you don't know how to do it and can't find a start?
I will help you to realize your very first macrame project within a very short time and also teach you the basics of knotting technology.
I offer workshops with various topics and, on request, different levels of difficulty. You can choose from themes such as wall hanging, jewelry, dog tick collars, loops, or lanterns.
My workshops are particularly suitable for events such as small summer parties, hen parties or girls' events! The ideal group size is between 6 and 14 participants.

What you’ll do in the class
In my courses, I start with a brief overview of the upcoming program and show an example right at the beginning of what the results of the participants should look like at the end. I bring two different instructions to each course:
- First, the basic note guide, in which all the basics are not only described by me, but also presented in simplified form with pictures.
- And, of course, the instructions for the booked project, in which all steps are also broken down with images and text.
I will do the “annoying and time-consuming preparatory work” of cutting ribbons for you before the course, so that everyone receives a small goodie bag from me right at the start of the course, in which you will find the tapes that have already been prepared. You will also find the lantern there, as well as a small individual goodie for afterwards.
The course lasts around 2.5 hours - depending on the number of participants, we may need a little more time, but we will discuss this with each other in advance.
The goal that comes first for me is: Everyone should have fun and be able to hold a finished project in their hands at the end!
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is suitable for complete beginners! I'll take you by the hand and help you understand how the art of macrame weaving is created. Of course, people who may have already tied something from time to time also get their money's worth.
