We have been running the Poel Sailing School for almost 15 years and our enthusiasm for water sports is usually always transferred to our guests. But see for yourself.

Here you can learn to sail on a catamaran in a fantastic setting while enjoying the beauty of the Baltic Sea. We sail to a beautiful location that you will remember for a long time and would be delighted to welcome you to your team event or bachelor party.

How does this experience take place?

Catamaran sailing in Wismar will teach you the basics of sailing on a catamaran. First, there is a theoretical introduction, which explains the basics of sailing on a catamaran. Afterwards, it's time to board, where you can practice with an experienced sailing instructor. You'll learn how to steer the catamaran, how to set sails and how to navigate correctly. At the end of the course, you should be able to sail independently on a catamaran.

Who is it suitable for

Catamaran sailing in Wismar is suitable for everyone who would like to learn how to sail, regardless of experience level. The course is also a great opportunity for experienced sailors who want to expand and improve their skills. The course is suitable for adults and children, but participants should be able to swim and not be afraid of water.

What is included?

When sailing catamarans in Wismar, all necessary materials are included in the price, such as sails, life jackets and wetsuits.
A theoretical introduction to sailing on a catamaran is also included in the course.
All you have to do is bring weather-appropriate clothing and sunscreen.
A beach volleyball is provided free of charge for all participants on the beach.

On request, the beach bar can also be rented directly at the sailing school for the event (please ask for rental price).

All safety equipment, such as a good wetsuit, neoprene shoes and life jackets, is provided by us. The beach volleyball right on the beach is also available free of charge on request.
