About this class
In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn everything you need to know about Handpan in 6 hours. You will learn the origin and history of handpan, the three “secrets of handpan”, the correct stroke, first simple rhythm exercises.
You will learn our pattern step by step and receive practical exercises for everyday life. And then you can start composing yourself for your first time. We give you lots of tips for buying Handpan so that you do everything right the first time.
You will also learn about:
- What mood should it be?
- steel or stainless steel?
- 432 Hz or 440 Hz?
- Handpan care
- detailed audition
Handpan course schedule:
- 10 — 12 — Introduction and workshop part 1
- 12:00 — 13:00 — lunch here in the house (vegetarian or vegan on request)
- 1 — 2 p.m. — Workshop part 2
- 14:00 — 15:00 — Time to ask questions and try out the different handpans
- 15:00 — 16:00 — Buying advice & farewell
We always have around 25-30 instruments from various manufacturers such as Daroma, Prima, Fame, Ugur, Nimosounds, Soulshine, Meraki, Sela, Opsilon or Taopan, which can be tested extensively.
In addition, every participant has the option to book an appointment for an individual individual lesson with a 50% discount.
