Class description

Whether you want to broaden your horizons yourself with your favorite type of spirits, or you just want to spend a nice evening or are looking for a gift for a gourmet person: Tastings at The Nest are inspiring and convey the history and stories of the cultural heritage of the highest quality spirits.

The Nest is a small hideaway where you can taste exquisite whiskey in a dignified pub setting. You'll learn entertaining, exciting and amazing things about their origins, get to know the character of spirits — and get to know nice people with a sense for the good things in life. We are also happy to do blind tastings, where even true connoisseurs can experience many surprises.

At a gin tasting, you will get to know the most interesting gin brands — we often prefer local distillates. Knut Hansen, Tonka Gin, Gin Sul and many other excellent gin brands come from northern Germany. The story of gin, how to make gin — which is surprisingly uncomplicated — which botanicals are used: you will experience and taste all this and more.
