About this Tour

Escape from everyday life and go on a guided canoe trip from Hitzacker to Neu Darchau. The 14 km long route leads through the idyllic Elbe Valley, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, and offers unique views and animal encounters.

Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll glide along the calm river Elbe, past picturesque riparian landscapes and impressive viewpoints such as the Drawehn Range. Experience pure nature, watch eagles, kingfishers and Elbe beavers and enjoy breaks at picturesque places.

Steps of the tour

We can transport up to 12 people with our van to the starting point of the tour. Otherwise, we meet directly in Hitzacker at the confluence of the Jeetzel and the Elbe
Briefing and rehearsal rounds in the harbor basin
Start of the canoe trip to the northwest
Drive past the Drawehn Hills and the Kniepenberg
End point of the tour in front of the car ferry from Neu Darchau on the left bank

After the tour, you can end the day with us with a grill and cold drinks. We provide you with a barbecue area with grill and charcoal. You will take care of the grilled food, other food and drinks. There is a supermarket in Neu Darchau that is open 24/7. We would be happy to provide you with an individual offer on request.
