Understand the importance of seed-resistant and replicable seeds. Find out why these characteristics are crucial for biodiversity and sustainability in horticulture and how to recognize seed-resistant seeds.
Step-by-step seed collection instructions:
Discover the secrets of seed propagation — from choosing the right plants to the actual extraction process. We will guide you through all steps so that you can successfully obtain your own seeds. We also practice the whole thing in practice on various vegetable and herb seeds.
Plant selection and care:
Learn which plants are particularly suitable for seed production and how to optimally care for them in order to obtain high-quality seeds. Seed production starts with cultivation planning.
Sort and store seeds:
Learn how to properly sort and store your harvested seeds in order to maintain their germination capacity in the long term.
Practical part:
Together, we obtain seeds from three different plants. You can take the seeds you have harvested yourself home at the end of the workshop and use them in your own garden.
