Class description
A photo walk full of long exposures and photographic experiments surrounded by atmospheric glittering Christmas lights.
This night photography and long exposure workshop gives you all the know-how you need to create breathtaking images at night. The sparkling lights of the pre-Christmas period and the buildings in Berlin at night are waiting to be explored photographically by us.
How is the photo course designed?
You will learn both the technical basics of long exposure photography as well as creative exposure techniques and tricks that can make your shots even more exciting and unusual. I explain the technical challenges and special features of taking pictures at night, in low light and from a stand.
Among other things, we create car light trails using long exposure and a short intro to the spectacular ICM technology (Intentional Camera Movement, i.e. the intended movement of the camera during exposure) should not be missing here.
Let your creativity run wild and bring the night lights to life!
What do we learn in the photo course?
- Basics of long exposure and night photography
- Focus at night
- Image design and structure
- Working with white balance
- Create exposure series and HDR images
- Introduction to ICM (Intentional Camera Movement)
How does this activity work?
During the joint photo tour through December night, we visit the most beautifully illuminated locations and Christmas markets, where you can capture the Christmas atmosphere wonderfully photographically.
Who should definitely take part?
In this photo workshop, the individual support of each individual participant is very important to me. You'll be picked up right where you are — both on the creative and technical side.
Together, we try out perspectives and techniques, always looking for new image ideas and exciting motifs to experiment with.
No previous experience is necessary - the photo course is suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
