About this class
What you’ll do in the class
With my support, you will use the overmolding technique to form your first one or two plates, plates or bowls. Use colored engobes and the sgrafitto technique to give the surfaces your own creative expression: A layer of paint is applied to the leathery clay
. Patterns, lines or small motifs are then incised into the surface so that the underlying sound is visible again. This creates exciting contrasts, patterns and fine drawings on your ceramic.
After the scrub firing, I will do the transparent glazing and the second firing for you. After about three to four weeks, you can hold your favorite finished ceramic in your hands and take it home with you.
