About this class
Would you like to “free” your pictures from the computer? Give them a high-quality frame, but don't just print them out? Then experience the cyanotype as a special fine printing process that brings your pictures to life. In this course, in addition to the background of the cyanotype, you will learn the individual process for your own pictures, which you should bring along digitally via USB stick or SD card.
What can you expect from this course?
- A selection of 10-20 photos is enough, which we will discuss in order to then use the appropriate motifs.
- From this, we create analog negatives, which are optimized and then become the starting point for the unique pieces.
- First, however, it is time to prepare our light-sensitive materials.
- The flair of a darkroom mixed with the use of digital technology makes it particularly appealing here to create your own unique items and, if necessary, to give them away (if you want to part with them!).
Previous knowledge of the cyanotype process is an advantage.
Attending the trial course is a great way to prepare for this course. Material costs between 5.00 EUR and 15.00 EUR (depending on consumption) are billed directly with the course instructor.
