By the end of the 1990s, almost all Berlin beer brands were produced by a major brewery.

Fortunately, times have changed!

Since the early 2000s, Berlin has developed into a German craft beer mecca and there are now around 30 craft and tavern breweries in the Berlin metropolitan area again.

During this beer tasting, you will get to know some of them and learn the stories behind the brewers and their beers.

The beer selection ranges from classic German beer styles, which are interpreted in a modern way, to new beer creations that were largely unknown just a few years ago.

Beer sommelier and Franco-born Florian Bauer shares his passion for beer and many entertaining anecdotes about beer.

You will learn how to taste beer correctly and describe your impressions better with the help of the Bierapostel tasting lid.
