About this class
During the Abstract Chalk Workshop, you will have the opportunity to shift your focus from the outside world to your inner world. An abstract “shadow play” with natural objects such as dried flowers, pine cones, dry tree bark and much more awaits you. Abstract patterns created by the “shadow play” can be artistically deepened with the help of colored blackboard and pastel chalk in a setting I have specified. During creative work, you go straight to yourself and try to let your feelings speak visually through intuitive colors and shapes. The goal is to focus on the process, on the here and now. The creative part is followed by a round of reflections in which you can share your experience and feelings in our small workshop group.
This workshop is ideal as a team building event. To this end, the whole team is working on a joint work of art.
Note: Unfortunately, you can't take your creation with you because you are painting directly on a large chalk wall. As a result, you experience a freedom that you would otherwise not be able to experience on a piece of paper. What stays with you? An unforgettable experience, a connection to your inner world and, of course, unique photos with your work of art!
What you’ll do in the class
- Getting to know each other
- Introduction to materials and painting techniques with pastel and chalk
- guided meditation to connect with your inner world
- “Shadow play”
- individual painting of an abstract picture on the chalk wall
- Round of reflections
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in art, mindfulness, psychology and art therapy. No previous artistic experience is required for this workshop. Don't worry, if you need creative input, I'll always be by your side.
In the workshop, you will learn how to use chalk on a chalk wall and at the same time you can transform unresolved situations and inner conflicts.
The workshop can also take place in a group. You then work together on a large work of art.
