Gudrun book classes

After graduating from high school in Berlin, I studied Kiswahili and spent a year as a volunteer with a grandmother in a remote village in southern Tanzania. This impressive experience prompted me to study agriculture and English in Berlin and Reading (Great Britain). Following my love, I later moved to Indonesia, worked in Jakarta for the Goethe-Institut, learned the language and have been translating literature from Indonesian into German ever since.

Participating in printing and bookbinding courses inspired me to initiate creative book projects with children in Jakarta and Berlin. As my own children grew up, I focused more on my own artistic development and took courses on plant colors and Ecoprint to dive deeper into sustainable art practice.
