Do you want to craft but lack the ideas, the materials and the space?

Come and join us, we offer you a space where you can let off steam in good company and in a cozy atmosphere! At Franmeisters, you can choose your favorite DIY craft kit from a wide range of products, which you design with a delicious wine or non-alcoholic candy.

The various DIY projects take between 30 and 120 minutes. You don't have to worry about tools, ideas and instructions, because here, with professional support, you can just work straight away.

From embossing bracelets, engraving glasses to wood burning to seasonally changing specials — everyone can find their do-it-yourself project here. Regardless of whether you plan your lovely evening with friends and reserve it in advance or stop by spontaneously; in the Franmeisters DIY Bar, you'll find a cozy place at one of the craft tables.

Location

The beautiful location is located in the middle of the hip Gostenhof district. You immediately feel at ease and are inspired. However, thanks to the beautiful decoration, Franmeister is perfect for hen parties.

Team events, birthday parties or other events can also be held here.

Who is behind Franmeisters DIY Bar?

Hi, I'm Franzi and I've been living in my adopted home of Nuremberg for 10 years. In 2021, I turned my dream into a career and opened the Franmeisters DIY Bar in Nuremberg's old town.

When my girlfriends asked me in my childhood what we wanted to do, they usually made the little addition “besides tinkering”, because I always wanted to just do crafts.

And that passion hasn't changed in the last 30 years.

After I completed my technical baccalaureate in design at the Lothar von Faber School, I first studied something “solid” in the area of natural science and worked in the industry for 10 years. But over the years, I've lacked creativity and the desire to create something with my hands has grown ever greater.

In 2018, the idea of opening a craft café or craft bar slowly matured. Because crafting is best done together with friends and a glass of wine.

For 3 years I tried out a variety of things with friends, worked on the instructions, took pictures and emptied a bottle of wine or two.

After Corona postponed the plans for the opening a bit, I finally found the perfect location at Jakobstraße 53, in the “Amt für Allgemeine Lebensfreude”, and the opening party took place on 08.10.2021.
