About this class
Grab a small piece of furniture and come to the workshop shop!
You don't have any furniture? Then choose something from my collection.
I will of course provide you with all materials. You will be guided step by step as you refurbish your piece of furniture and get help where you need it. You will be taught expertise, painting techniques and helpful tips and tricks. We work exclusively with high-quality paints and varnishes as well as painting accessories from MissPompadour.
In the end, you'll go home with your own unique furniture and lots of new knowledge.
You can find us in Kranichfeld, not far from Erfurt, Weimar and Jena.
A workshop lasts around 6 hours — depending on which piece of furniture you want to refurbish.
We recommend the furniture upcycling workshop from the age of around 12 years, even with the support of an adult.
We only use paints and paints that are ecologically based and sustainably produced. Sustainability is important to us — you'll notice that when you visit us on site.
Can I bring my pet?
Dogs are very welcome here. A dog bed and a water bowl are provided, and they are allowed to move freely on the grounds. All participants will be asked for their consent in advance.
What is included in the price?
- All required materials such as painting accessories, paints, primers, waxes, paints, etc.
- creative accessories (decoupage paper, craft tools, stencils, etc.)
- A 100 percent compostable paint tray as a gift for every participant
- Snacks, Cakes/Pastries, Coffee, champagne, water
When booking a group, each person receives a 10 percent shopping voucher, which you can redeem directly on site in the workshop shop.
Where does the workshop take place?
- In beautiful Kranichfeld (Bahnhofstraße 18) on the old industrial site “KRANIA”. The site was closed in 2019 but has retained its industrial charm.
- The area is completely fenced in, parking spaces are available right in front of the workshop — and with a bit of luck, you can watch the fox family that have their home right next door.
