Strudel, whether hearty or sweet, is the dish of longing for most people from their own childhood.
Whether on a skiing holiday at a hut or visiting Vienna in a typical coffee house everywhere, we love this typical Austrian specialty. With a little practice, it is not at all difficult to roll out the wafer-thin dough and “pull it out” with your hand until you could read a newspaper through the dough.
The program includes classic apple strudel and sophisticated pumpkin strudel with hot sauce, as well as arguably the “best vanilla sauce” in the world.
Guaranteed learning success
Strudel dough is not rocket science and I'll show you how to make a perfect strudel dough by hand or in a food processor! Filling and the way to perfect rolling are also easy to do with tips and tricks from me.
This is what you will learn in the course
- Under my instructions, you knead and form strudel in two delicious variants:
- Sweet with apple
- Hearty with pumpkin
- You make a real vanilla sauce with me — with egg and without pudding powder!
- For pumpkin strudel, I offer you the preparation of a spicy sauce, “to spice up your life”
