About this class
We offer a tufting workshop in our studio in Berlin Mitte, very close to Prenzlauer Berg. With an AK tufting machine, you can create your own small rug or the frame for a mirror. We'll show…
What you’ll do in the class
- You will receive an introduction to our AK Cut Pile tufting machine.
- We will then do a few smaller tufting exercises with the machine so that you become familiar with tufting.
- That's when you start tufting your work.
- You create your design with wool yarn (100% pure virgin wool).
- Of course, we are always at your side with advice and assistance.
- At the end of the workshop, you will hold your homemade rug or mirror in your hands.
We do the finishing and backing for you. You can pick up your finished rug or mirror from the studio later or we can send it to you by post.
